Victorian Bolt Action League

The Victorian Bolt Action League held by the Bolt Action Alliance crew, kicks off today with 1250 point comp at Games Lab in Melbourne, and I am there, with my DAK.

Boltaction

I have entered this comp with my DAK, mainly cause they are finished and look pretty good.  The comp it’s self is 1250 points it can be either Tank Wars or normal forces, that is going to make an interesting dynamic.   It has been a little under a year since I played competitively so there is going to again be a huge learning curve, but hey that is not what I am playing for I will be playing to meet loads of new people.

We are playing the boltacton.net season 3 rules, some of which I am not impressed with, some I am.  But this is what we are playing so I have to play it. These rules are pretty common here in Aus so I am going to have to just get over it and play it.

So my list.

Thanks to Greg at Easy Army for the great work he has done with Easy army to make this generation of army lists so simple.

So that is the list, Yep I have an 88 in there, cause it can do both bombardment (not great) and AT, in case anybody brings any tanks cause my Tanks are not really that good at dealing with tanks, so the Pak40 and the 88 are there to deal with them.

The two tanks are there to deal with Infantry, as is the MMG and Kradschutzen.  The infantry is there to take the Objectives.

The list is not going to set the world on fire, but is it going to be fun to play with and against.

This will be my first and possibly last Victorian Bolt Action League event this year, I have things on when the other events happen which makes it hard to get to all the events, it is also my first tournament for the year out side of a con.

The Victorian Bolt Action League is going to be held every 3 months so the next event is going to be in May, that is pretty good timing keeps everybody playing and helps grow the community.

After this event it might be a bit of dry times for me, but I do intend to run a Bolt Action event later in the year if all timings work out for me.
