July saw the exciting conclusion to our three month Necromunda campaign. Every gang gathered for a final, all-in, free-for-all battle! Nine players engaged across a 6×4 foot underhive battlefield in a scenario devised by our arbitrator. Each player drew random objective cards from several decks based on their factional alignment. Objectives were varied, and could be as simple as taking out enemy gangers, or more difficult and more lucrative, such as stealing eggs from the sewer beast that randomly surfaced from openings across the battlefield. It was a chaotic battle where gangs would be fighting each other one moment, and then co-operating the next moment to attack the sewer beast. After several turns, the remaining gangers withdrew to their settlements to lick their wound, mourn the fallen but also count the credits they had collected, and bask in the reputation they had earned. We finished off the evening with awards being handed out to those who had made outstanding achievements (not all of them good!) during the entire campaign.

The rest of July was occupied with many of our favourite games including Conquest, Battletech, Warmaster, and SW: Legions.

August was much the same, but also included Legions Imperialis, Void Admiral, and OPR: Grimdark Future. OPR: Grimdark has especially taken off with the Monday Knights, so expect more of that in the future.
