Richard Sharpe is a fictional character by Bernard Cornwell, for the Sharpe series set within the Napoleonic Wars, all the way from India to after the wars in 1820. This series span off a TV series staring Sean Bean, named Sharpe.
I have here an Andrea Miniature in 54mm scale of Sharpe, this is my first entry in to the big model format, and I hope to do this model justice and be able to enter this into painting comps.
A Year in Review, and what a year it has been, I get to look back at the year and see what we have done, and where we are going. Firstly it has been a long year, much has happened. At the start of the year we didn’t really know where we would be by June, then along came Bane of War which was fantastic, I am sad that I will miss this next year. Adepticon which I will miss next year again I am pretty sad to miss this, it is a great Con and you have to go to it. Then we moved back to Aus in May, and I traveled down to Hobart for a Flames comp, that was a load of fun.
Cancon is coming on rapidly, only 48 more days until I land in Canberra for the festivities to begin. But not all is going well games are not filling up like they used to.
Now it is almost time to get serious about painting and getting ready, signing up or is it?
More Terrain, yep I have been flat out building and painting terrain, why cause I really couldn’t be stuffed with painting minis for the moment. So while I lack the motivation for Mini’s I have worked on some terrain. This is more a dump of everything I have not done in a full post. So there are a few pieces in here that over all look great and I want to see how they look on the table.
MK1881 did a kick starter for the Ares Blood bowl team, I want to say around a year ago, I recently dipped the toe back in to commission painting. One of the members of the Melbourne Blood Bowl League had this team and really wants to play with it, however it was not painted. Being a fantastic looking team I took the commission.
